4.8

58 reviews on her Google listing, and the ones people write twice are about the same two things: how long the work lasts, and how carefully it's done.

Miss Jenny runs the whole place herself, and you can really tell she's experienced and takes pride in her work. She's super detail-oriented, gentle, and makes sure everything looks perfect.

“She's detail oriented and does an incredible job every single time. My nails stay for an insane amount of time and never chip or break in between appointments.”
Stephanie Giunta five stars
“She knows what she doing, great talent, was done with my express gel mani in less than 30 minutes because she knew I had somewhere else to be.”

The work

Ten small canvases.

Every set is ten surfaces the size of a postage stamp, and she treats them that way: shaped first, painted second, finished until the light runs clean across them. All of these are her own photographs.

Services

Everything on her awning,
and then some.

Everything painted on the shop front, plus what her reviewers keep asking for. One chair, one client, start to finish.

Manicures

Shaped, tidied and polished. Ask for the express set when you have somewhere to be: reviewers have been out the door in half an hour.

Spa pedicures

The long version, with the foot massage her regulars book their mothers and daughters in for.

Gel & shellac

Cured hard and finished flat. The reviews count the wear in weeks, not days.

Acrylics

Full sets and fills, filed to the length and shape you ask for, with no house style imposed on you.

Fiber glass & silk

Wraps for natural nails that need reinforcing, and for the one that split on a Thursday.

Airbrush & nail art

Freehand streaks, glitter and color mixed for an occasion. This is where the ten canvases earn the name.

Prices aren't published online. Call the shop and ask; it takes a minute.

The shop

The little green shop on 15th.

One low building with green trim, a white awning with red letters, and a neon OPEN in the window. The A-frame goes out on the sidewalk in the morning and it says the same thing it has always said: walk-ins welcome.

Acrylics, fiber glass, silk and gel down the left side of the awning; airbrush, manicures and spa pedicures down the right. Six days a week, closed Tuesdays.

Even though I was just a random walk in she treated me like a person that would made an appt weeks ago.
